Do you perform any physical examinations?
My scope of practice includes providing breathing techniques, comforting touch and aromatherapy. Physical exams are done by the midwife and or the doctor.
How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?
You and your partner are a team. Your partner is encouraged to support you with comforting techniques, breathing and gentle touch. I'm your person in the background supporting you both.
What are your interactions with medical staff like?
My interactions with the medical staff is through you and your partner.I'm your person to hold space for your desired birthing experience. I answer any questions you may have, Provide information to support you and listen without judgement to you and your partner.
Support Services
Prenatal Visits
I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal Visits, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby.
Birthing Guidance
With Birthing Guidance, I offer unwavering support in lactation and care of your baby to you and your family before, during and after birth. staying in close communication in order to routinely check in on how you’re doing and how things are going. provide referral or education based information and an ear to listen.
Postpartum Support
Pregnancy, birth and the early days of child rearing can leave you and your partner in a variety of emotions, you could be scared, worried, uncomfortable, stressed and uncertain even concerns of doing it right. All of this is the perfect place . Postpartum Support service is to ensure you get off to a great start .We address your questions and concerns with educational based information, referrals when needed and support. We will be in communication with in home visit and vitural visits the fist few weeks of birth.
